Window

We’ve wandered through thick forests, drifting by canoe past cabins glowing with firelight, and eventually reached the ocean.

It calls us home, but we remain. We will wait here in our cottage by the sea, looking onward, beyond the shore.

And through this candle-lit window, we will watch the tide rise and fall with the moon, as we do.
